LED head lights

I've been wondering for a while if there was any LED head light bulbs in the market and I came across this product:

9007 18 SMD LED WHITE LIGHT BULB (PAIR)

Does anyone know how good they are compared to standard and HIDs? I would prefer these over HIDs since they consume less power heat up less and don't seem to need any more components like the ballasts.

Yeah it looks like they may not have enough power. I might buy a set off ebay and try to swap both head light and fog lamps to see if they make a decent light all together. They are so cheap, that I wouldn't mind trying I guess.

I had HIDs in my lows on my blazer and ran those bulbs in my high beam spot since I dont use the highbeams. Figured since my hbs were also my DRL's, it would look very cool, kinda audi-ish.
Well, not enough resitance to use as drls without a relay and even when physically switched on, they were barely noticable.

There's no way those will provide sufficient output. My switchbacks have 30 SMDs in each color and even that's not enough to provide enough light. Until they come out with bulbs that have like 500 SMDs there won't be any LED bulbs that provide sufficient amounts of light.

Drunkie your lighting setup is the nicest I've seen, I can't give you enough props.

And to the OP, get hids, there cheap and easy to install. You get the color effect you want and decent output in stock headlights. There the smartest option, don't waste money on LEDs unless there going in your turn signals.
