• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

LED Halos

2 switches for each halo? i was thinking of using a single pull double throw (SPDT) switch. so it would be like:

red
off
white

and then theres 3 terminals on the switch, common top and bottom, so i could run either power or ground (either way it does what it needs to do). so lets say i go power to the switch and then go to the top of it for red power and then bottom for the white power

you just need a dpdt relay (double pole double throw) one side for amber when the relay kick for the turn signal, the other side for the white connected to the running light.

Gotcha. Figure that for making it into the turn signal.

I'll look for one of those switches soon.

if that was at me i meant for having 2 halo colors, and not use them as blinkers lol

i understood yours iroc,

i'm just trying to offer css any info i can for his project

Thanks. Since I am down at college it will be awhile before I get the relay because I can get them for free at my dad's work. And for the switch I aint sure if home depot carries those

Umm. RadioShack? They have tons of ****. As for multiple colors, just get a switch with multiple positions and wire them up for common feed and switched ground. It's always better to switch the ground because it's easier to diagnose a short, should one occur.

wow i need to go learn stuff before i look into ordering! awesome site! just wish i had a furrther expanded led knowlegde. time to learn! :)
