leaking s/c snout?

i thought i felt some s/c oil on the snout today when i was checking stuff out on my car... culd it be leaking s/c oil? and what would cause that?

Not really, I mean, it could just be seeping down the snout. I've seen it several times. If it's a severe leak, then it will get on the pulley and fling it everywhere.

The snout seal itself isn't hard to replace at all. Getting the pulley off is the hardest part. I sell the snout seals for $10 shipped if you or someone you know has a puller.
 


ok i gotta figure out if that really is s/c oil. hopefully its not too bad to the point that its flinging it around
 


ok ill give it a check tomorrow to see if i can figure out what it is.. from what i remember it seemed kind of clear
