Leaking fuel line

I have a 97 GTP in which the one of the plastic fuel lines is leaking just behind where it connects to the fuel rails on top of the supercharger. Is there any problem with just replacing these plastic parts of the fuel lines with rubber fuel hose and pipe clamps? Not really wanting to invest much more money into this car. Thanks
 


Its not near the metal lines. Its cracked right in the plastic part. I repaired it once before with JB weld but its leaking again. The leak is not where the slip connectors are.

yes you can do it that way but think about it like this, that line has up to 50 psi in it. so id fix it right. if it pops off you wont need to fix THIS CAR any more, it will burn.
 


No, there's nothing wrong with FI rated line and I'd double up the FI clamps on both ends. Actually when I did that, I also added a slight bubble flare to the fuel rail and the metal tube.

Easiest place to get the fuel line will be where it bends from under the car to up into the engine bay on the drivers side.
 
Whatever you choose to do, make sure it done right so it won't leak again.
