Leaking Coolant Above Water Pump

My '97 GP has developed a coolant leak above the water pump recently. I cant quiet tell where it is from but appears it could be between the intake manifold and the block. Is this a common problem area? How hard is it to change and put in new gaskets? I am not familiar with newer fuel injected vehicles, but know my way around an older small block chevy fairly well. It squirts out a pretty good stream at a high rpm. Any help would be appreciated.

good call, i totally glanced over that how to... i was looking for it because that's the one i used when i did mine but couldn't find it for some reason.
 


Do yourself a favor and invest in the metal elbows. I just replaced the plastic elbow on my mom's 96 regal which also has the cast elbow built in. The plastic one was a droman plastic one that split in half.
