Lazy Boost

Really it is. I barely touch the gas and the boost gauge lights up. I can here the supercharger but I sure as **** cant feel any boost. I have to mash the gas to feel any boost at all. Im assuming vacuum leak, BBV isn't closing, bad tune or something else. I just don't know. Blah...

Nvm. When I popped my hood to hook my boost gauge back up I Found s/c oil all over the s/c. That was vacuum leak pt1. I also discovered thr was a third line on the boost bypass solenoid that had nothing connected to it so I capped it of. That was vacuum leak pt2. Is anything bes iyd es the bbv and fuel line vacuume supposed to be connected to that?

Mine goes from here

To here

^this is at the heater core inside the car, passenger side, behind the center console

Well. If that missing line was supposed to connect to the inside accessories like the aircon then that woud explain why my dual aircon dosent work right....cuz thrs no vacuum line goin to it. Hrm...

Yes I have that problem. Are there two lines then that go to the hvac? The line on top of my s/c is connected. Its the line on the bypass solenoid that isn't

There is just the one going into the car. I believe the other one runs to the HVAC controls. I dont have muh car here to verify right now. I only have two lines goin to the bbs, one in from the bbv and out to the vac manifold. Pay no attention to the circle...for another post

On that diagram. Number 7. Top right. That is an open port with nothing connected too it. I capped it off now the car runs great.

Yeah, the diagram looks like its showing it capped. I'll have to look under my hood to see. I should get my car back tomorrow.

Yeah idk about open. I know what your saying and I was working under there yesterday and mine is capped too. Stock

that should have a small piece of foam as a filter on it not capped. if your vents arent working then you still have a leak somewhere.
