Trippin' bricks??:th_scratchhead: Just assumed the topic of your posts were pertaining to suicide doors since the previous posts and mine all said suicide doors (the ones that open backwards, not upwards). LOL. Not to mention the question you responded to was asking about suicide door kits.:th_tongue2:
Yes, I have dealt with cars that have suicide doors, lambo doors, etc. for years. As all of my posts said, it would be near impossible to improperly use SUICIDE doors and damage the car during normal daily activities.
As you stated, I have seen many cars damaged by cheap lambo kits improperly installed and then improperly used. The two I helped install both had adjustments in them for "stops" that wouldn't allow the door to go out beyond a safe point and they both cleared the fenders easily. An old co-worker had a cheap set and fiberglass fenders and they were all chipped up from the warped fenders and the doors not clearing.
Yeah, myself with a four door I would go suicide doors before Lambo doors. Personally, even quality lambo door kits are in no way "rice". They are quite functional. I wish all cars came equipped with them. It would make parking lots A LOT friendlier. I hate stupid people that think the car next to them is a door stop and they are multiplying.
