i dont believe the memory loss bull****. i think people use it as an excuse because they dont remember important things.

However, I do enjoy being in the presence of people who do. It's just pure entertainment bliss.

Sooooo..... How 'bout them headers?

Mine are bluing quite nicely. The only leaks I have are from not putting a new front gasket on, and the horseshoe joints underneath. I'll fix it when the weather warms up a bit.
 


So when you guys talk about leaks... you mean that the tube has spots in it where the air escapes?

How can you tell? You just listen to that part or put a paper by the joints to see if it moves? Is it a big deal? Or does it just make your car sound stupid?
 
Yes...an exhaust leak. Whereever the exhaust isn't sealed...spent gases leak out and cause it to be louder, or have an annoying tick, etc. Plus, it'll also cause worse MPG's. As long as you use the right RTV and everything...you shouldn't have any issues like Rynoman2K3's headers on his GTP when me and Abrasive did them.
 
i used "mega" copper RTV, applied a generous amount... slid joints together and wiped off excess. DanGTP, did u gain a pretty decent amount of power with these things? any SES lights due to no CAT.

that came off kind of arragant, just trying to voice an opinion, i guess it depends on the person, i mean i wasnt a genius to begin with.. then 3 to 4 sessions a day.. i seriously think i was borderline retarded for a bit there. but if you make it work and stay on top of eveything then....umm..well then im kinda jealous

okay im sorry back to the headers.... i need $ man im itching for these suckas
