L67 swap help!! what torque converter and flexplate

thunder71173

SLP, GTP or call it MUT!
I have just completed my l67 swap and it hasnt been running quite right. My question is in swapping this motor I used the L67 flex plat and l36 torque converter and now I have the flex plate rattle. My question is should I use the 258 mm flex plate for the L67 and the L67 flex plate or the L36 flex plate and torque converter or a combination of the two. I have been told not to use the l36 flex plate because it isnt balanced for the l67 motor but theare the same bore and stroke with a different piston so does this matter? Please helpppppp!

whichever one goes with the transmission in your car.

if you have an L36 transmission, use the L36 flex plate and vice versa for the L67.

thats cool bio somone else just said not to use a l36 because it wasnt balanced for the l67 I picked up an extra 4t65e to send to dave a tep and an l36 flex plate today so I should be good to go.

Hey everyone on here has helped me out a bunch with this and Matt has been nothing but help on the other hand he scared me pretty good yesterday lolol. Im just glad all I have to do is slip another flex plate in instead of changing the converter and all!
