KYB quick struts for an 01 GTP?

I'm looking for some KYB Excel-G (GR2) quick struts for my 01 GTP, but all sites state they only fit the SE's and GT's? Is there another KYB quick strut available for the GTP? If so, where?

Long story short, I took my car in for an alignment today and the shop is telling me that they cannot align my car unless they remove my front struts to install camber adjustment bolts, because my steering wheel is not centered. They said this is a very labor intensive job and that my car will have to stay with them for at least 2 days, which I feel is total BS. I just installed my current strut assemblies a year ago, however they are crappy Chinese assemblies that I got for real cheap, and are already wearing at just 20K miles... I feel I might as well upgrade to the KYB quality assemblies and then have my car aligned, since the shop is saying they will have to pull my current struts.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

adjust tie rods until wheel is centre and toe is set properly.

Camber bolts do not affect toe.

Run away from that shop and don't go back.

If you wanted to buy quick struts, the "non gtp" ones are fine.

Ok.. Even when some sites specifiy "non-GTP, and "except GTP"? Sorry for being anal, I just want to do this once and then forget about it. This will actually be my second time replacing all four struts within a two year time frame, which already is aggravating. How about the Moroso's? Would they be a good alternative over the KYB's?

I can't see what difference it would make. Perhaps in the springs, but you'll never noticed the difference.

I would opt for KYB, they sell a better strut.

Its kinda your own fault you have to do it again so soon.
