KYB GR2 compared to factory CompG struts

Im looking to by new struts for my 04 CompG and was wondering if the KYB GR2's would be a good choice. Ive hear the compg package is stiffer than other grand prix's but how much stiffer would the GR2's be compared to factory replacements?
