alright i have a 98 gtp with 3"dp, 104's, open cone intake, 180* tstat, ported front manifold and a 3.4 mps. im seeing 2-2.5* of kr at WOT. its on a stock tune so im probly running lean. im wondering if a 3.6 pulley will bring that kr down to 0* or at least close.

Without headers I wouldn't run below a 3.5 Anyways. If you have access to a 3.6 throw it on. 3.4 is too small IMO

Well there's your solution. A 3.4 pulley on a basically stock car is too small. I had the same 3.4 on my SSei with exhaust, no u bend, PCM intake and on 93 I still saw kr.

Just stay out of wot u til you get your rockers and headers. Then let lose. Or like I said. Add race gas.

Or just put a stock pulley back on it and go beat the pee outta it all day long?

3.6" might work too, ya dig bro?

i dont get on it anymore after i seen the kr*. i was asking about the 3.6 because i moved to ft meade md awhile back and have no access to a puller so i cant realy just put the 3.8 back on i had a friend of mine press the 3.4 on an extra snout he had while my wife was home and she picked it up for me. so i just swapped snouts. but if a 3.6mp will help the issue id get one of thoes on until i can afford headers 1.9's and a good tune and switch back to the 3.4.

Your kinda bouncing back and forth and wasting money on a $50 + 3.6 pulley if you go that way. Just keep the 3.4 on and take it easy is my suggestion. Self control man ;)

Or you could just do a cam and call it a day and run a 3.2 all day long :D
