The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
mine ticked a few time today on me. and im like 2000 miles for another change. it just happens. run 2 quarts of 10-40 oil. 3 quarts of 10-30, its what i did and it shut the ticks up for like 3 oil changes.
Purolator or wix is the way to go. I like wix because they use a silicone anti-drainback valve that's more pliable and seals better and longer. That prevents day starts and conditions like yours. Only Purolator pureone's have them, all wix's do. They're red and can be seen on the filter.
Edit: when I said only pureone's have them, I mean a silicone valve. All filters have them but often they're cheap rubber that usually fails by 3k.
I'm currently using a Purolator pure one filter. Wix is a great company as well, but comparing purolator's economy filter with wix's lowest filter, wix's is better. Purolator makes a lot of filters such as valvoline, I think Pennzoil, ect.
