Knocking in front end

Timing

New member
So i started getting a knocking in my front end a couple months ago. I did notice one of my tie rod ends were bad so seeing as i work at a parts store and get like 50% off i figured i might as well do everything over.

Here are the parts ive replaced.

Inner out tie rods both sides
Control arms/balljoints
right cv axle
rotors, pads, calipers all around
front hubs/bearings
sway bar links/bushings
motor and trans mount
polly dogbone bushings

Now after doing all of this im still getting this knocking? Only thing i can think is the left cv axle.
It only happens when first taking off and while braking.
Now after i did the front end, i had taken the sway bar out while doing the front end and put it back in with new bushing and noticed it was VERY close to what looks to be a power steering line(havnt cared to look)
So i figured i put it upside down. I flipped it the other way and same result.
Here are some pics.

Does something seem off? No idea on this year. My 2000 had plenty of room besides it almost hitting the downpipe, but that was a completly different setup.

The left cv looks good. Not blown out or anything.

I have jacked it up and pryed under tire to find any play and i cant find anything or immitate the knock.

I did however find one problem while under there

Looks like ill be doing another oil pan gasket soon :P

Only other thing i can think is when i replaced the calipers/pads/rotors i painted them and didnt shave off the paint where the clips go so could the pads be binding and causing this? But i dont notice any unusual wear looking at them nor when i spin the wheel while jacked up do i hear anything. I did grease them well and they seemed to slide in perfectly find when putting them in.

Any ideas on finding a solution would be appreciated. I need a sticker at the end of this month so i need to resolve this.

i have the same noise on the van im driving i have read stories were one guy lubed every nut bolt and just about everything else to no avail as for the van its in the body or frame. the only thing i could say is it maybe your frame or a dry bushing. i say bushing first or something not lubed.

Only bushings not replaced are the cradle bushings and they look mint.

Need to take care of that rust though :P

Well i think i figured it out.
Took the links off and took it for a drive. It started ticking like a bad axle. So i got the left axle and am going to throw it in now ill update results.
