knock sensor question...

If you run the l67 with the knock sensors unplugged, how does that change the timing in the engine ( if at all? ) I know in other motors, like the LS1, the engine will add a constant 4* KR when the sensors are unplugged...

and yes, I am well aware of the risks of no knock sensor, this is simply a question.

I'm not 100% sure, but likely the car just wont have a way of knowing anything if it does knock.

The SES will come on too I'm pretty sure.

The V8 pcm's are like 5x more advanced than these dumb V6's.
 
Not sure either..I'd have to look up a knock sensor code in the FSM and see what it says happens based on a failure etc. You could assume whatever the default for failing sensor does is likely what unplugging would do.
