Here it is, 99 gp gt, 140,000 miles, and an engine with 90,000, well i had it started one day, idled fine ran smooth no odd noises, then this knocking started in the engine, but it runs and drives fine no problems. the CEL says my 02 sensor is bad or Heater malfunction? Not sure the code it gave me was quite confusing. I was wondering could this the knock sensors, or camshaft sensor?? Thanks for the help!

yeah, funny thing. my camera is no where to be found...anyway sorry for late response. I have a odd feeling it may be the camshaft sensor, I picked one up...now I gotta find out how to replace it. would you happen to know how hard it is?

i forgot to add, the SES light went off, the engine stalls upon low RPMs, like the timing f's up

I had an issue like that at the same amount of miles on the car. Changed the oil and used lucas oil that says "prevents dry start". Next time I started it noise was gone. Only question does it go away when the car warms up?

Cam sensor only helps the engine start. After that it's not used according to what I read in the FSM. Crank sensor tells the pcm/icm when to fire each coil. That's the one I'd go after.

Cam sensor, located down and to the left of thw WP pulley. Held in by one 10mm bolt (IIRC). Wiggles out, wiggles in, done.
