Kinda killed an SSEi

So my friend with a bonneville SSEi was getting new tires today, so he decided to tear up his old ones. we went out to the country so i could record his burnouts or whatever. well when he was done, we decided to race. the first time i raced him a few months ago, i only had an intake and downpipe, needless to say i got pounded. this time it was different. i let him honk, got on it a little late, but i caught up to him by about 45 and was pulling one inch at a time. That is, until about 80...i had the shifter in first and it just redlined in second gear -_- im never trying to do that again. i was probably and inch or two ahead of him...we both had 2 people in the car and i know he has subs.

i couldnt view the video but you should leave your shifter in drive, you actually dont get all the power you can by manually shifting it, let the car shift on its own, but i will search for the vid

haha thanks. beat me to it.

i actually dont usually have it in first, but i wanted to do a burnout as i was leaving. when i lined up next to him i forgot it was in first, which is why i didnt shift it.

i see that could have ended bad ha, that sweetens the deal sayin you redlined and still gave him a good run

Nice, if u had a tune + er rockers u would have got him! u have a better weight advantage too
Or wait for a topswap and really give him a beating lol
