Kinda funny night

So I go out most weekends if i'm not doing anything else and cruise around. Last night was not to eventful, but what people will try amuses me. I don't roll up on GTO's or Vette and try to run them..not that i'm unwilling to play, just I know my place. Had a guy in an acura legend run up on me. Guess he noticed I was in a bit of a hurry, and did the ricer flyby but then suprisingly fell back to make things interesting....well after a good spanking, he catches up and has this angry look and try's for round two. I take off and easily put about 5 cars on him. I ease off and again he want's to try again. I was laughing cuz the look on his face was priceless. It looked like he was trying maybe to squeeze the steering harder and maybe that would make his car go faster. Then later I pulled up to a civic with a very elaborate paint job and it sounded like a cammed briggs and straton motor. Funniest sound ever. Light goes and we take off...I put a good 5 or 6 cars on him, and slow down. He then fly's past and then I noticed that chunks of parts are falling out from under his car..not just like one or two, but like a damn cartoon when they shut the door to hard! He just kept of driving like nothing was happening. I think before he got his paint job and fancy rims, he should have invested in some good ole TLC.

Hehehe, yeah ricers are funny. They wonder why they can't get any women, they drive damn clown cars and everyone beats them and laughs at them too. Ahhh memories, cruising is fun just to watch the ricers make fools of themselves.

As a friend of mine once said to a ricer doing a riceboy hear my fart can flyby... "Silly Ricer, dicks are for chicks!" LOL.

I once saw a mustang launch hard from a light, and blow the motor... as in BLOW the motor. Slung oil everywere, saw several pieces of metal including 2 connecting rods, and other stuff go flying out from under it. it coasted across the intersection, then caught on fire... I always assumed from the oil on the pipes. I was about 14 at the time..

My personal favorite do this day was a couple of guy in a red honda accord pulling out of our local hang out spot. My city has medians everywhere and this kid decides to show off and take off like a NHRA car. Except you can't make left turns anywhere and he nailed the median...ripped off the whole front end including the front wheels and tore open the oil pan...haha

So question...how many of ya'll go out often or once in a while to "cruise" and take part in your area's night life. I know I'm young and into it and some of you aren't..it's just sometimes when I post my wins I get haggled a lot and it makes me feel a little different than the rest of ya. I go out weekends and once in a while during the week unless I'm doing something better and cruise my city and head out to race sometimes. It's just one of my favorite things to do.
So anyways...tonight I ran up on a very nicely done Cobalt SS. With checking facts online It seems I would blow them away pretty well, but this one caught my intrest. The damn blower sounded like it was doing 100k rpms or something...never heard that before, but after playing with him he wouldn't race. Just the oh so popular ricer flyby...I got him to take off, and i followed instantly and he just quit. Then I took off again anyways seeing what was up and nothing. So I hit the brakes hard and that's when he guns it and flys past...I hate those kind of drivers that won't race but just zoom past when your on the brakes. Funny thing was I gunned it and pulled right up to him and when I looked over he was just shaking his head as he looked at my badge. I'm thinking of debadging the car's GTP logo's cuz to many people see that and won't race, but I have to much pride in it to really do it. What do you ya'll think?:th_shrugshoulders:

i do it all the time, go crusing that is. i give people a hard time about there kills sometimes too cause its like they dont have respect for other cars and talk alot of smack. not cool. and i raced a cobalt ss at the track. i think all he had was intake, thats all i had to. i beat him but only by .3 of a second and thats cause i would get him off the line. he had 5mph on me.

and i dont think badgeing has as much to do with a race as you would think. i mean im sure saying supercharger on the side of your car might scare some people but then agian i think it might excite some people into racing you. i think its more of how you instigate the race..

I usually just put it third or second and jump the car a bit...let the exhuast do the talking and let them see I wanna play. Other than that I don't do much else. I just see them looking down at the side of my car and then nothing happens. I'm faster than most of the rice around my area and some muscle...but it's not like I'm a supercharged V8...or maybe that's what they think?

antaginizing goes a long ways. my best aprouch is to kinda pace them. maybe half a car back. as they speed up so do i and i just keep speeding up with them untill they wale into it. then i let off when they do or when im about a car or so up and have proven my point. that way its mutual respect and we either run them agian or part ways with a thumbs up :)

So kinda not funny...talkin about debadging my car...well I just got it back this weekend from an auto body store cuz a huge truck ran over my car about a week and half back...the badge on the hit side is missing, and the new metal is shifting and isn't lined up anymore so now I have to take it back in...Not sure how long I'll be out this time...Damnit!

most people where i am dont even know what the badge means so its cool with me but i dont think debadging is all that great would you take off a ss or z28 badge ? i wouldnt

but ever since i got out of high school hanging out at spots doesnt really happen any more its usually go up to a friends college or like right now go hang out at someones house
