Because my post was removed off that thread. I figured I'd post it here. I can't be the only GPF'er that's heated about that.
I figured I should make a post in the "Rant" forum's cause my post on that thread was removed, and I received an infraction of 4 points about it :th_laugh-lol2: Thanks :th_thumbsup-wink:

Like, what in the actual F**k was he thinking? I'd cut my left leg off to have such a pristine low mile Grand Prix, let alone it being a freaking PACECAR! And for him to buy it, not give 2 S**ts about the value of that car, really grinded my gears.

Now I fully understand the whole "it's their car, let them do as they please", but I still can't fathom why you'd buy a Pacecar, to turn around, and pull the graphic's off. Like, if you wanted a silver GTP Coupe... You should have looked past the pace car. And bought a F*****G SILVER GTP COUPE!!! Like i'm super bummed, that the pacecar's now ruined. I shed a tear when i scrolled down in that thread. I thought the thread title was a joke. That's why I checked I out. I was poorly mistaken.

Anybody else feel the same as me? :th_depressed:


Edit: I'd hate to see this get removed, but whateves. Shoot me some more infractions. That'd be cool.
 


His car. His money. His decisions on what to do with it.

After all its still just a Grand Prix pace car it probably won't hold any significant value in the future. I don't like the fact that most of the thread guys were bashing him for doing it...he already stated that the decals were to flashy for something he was DD to work and he really didn't have to show us any pictures of the car if he wanted to.
 
It's not a Camaro pace car from the 60's it a GTP. They made how many GTP's???? It doesn't matter if it is a pace car or not. It is still a Grand Prix.

My Point exactally. If you wanted a silver GTP for a DD, shoulda looked. Why tear the decals off?



^I kinda am Bill. **** kinda pissed me off. If thats all he was going to do with the car. I would have driven my ass down there, with a blank check in my hand to buy it.
 
And he told us that his original intenton wasn't to take them off and DD it. His priorities changes. This is like getting mad at someone with mods for selling them when a kid happens unexpectedly.
 
Low miles, from the looks of it excellent condition, maybe it was local, maybe he wanted a DD rather sooner then later, maybe it was priced well etc....way to many factors to consider. Not to mention the cancer you tend to get with the prev gen....yea I don't blame him for buying this one.
 


maybe he wanted a pace car without all the fugly ass decals so he could have a clean car with all the light bars and strobes they come with? hm?

If I ever get super rich I am going to buy one of these pace cars and then video tape me setting the damn thing on fire and post it here just for you. Its just a gddamn fwd shtbox grand am.
