• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

....The inherent problem there: Bio is the most active mod and all mods would need to receive updates on the forum - and it annoys him.

A) Bio is basically the ONLY mod, since I can't recall seeing any other mod on EVER besides Rocket and he's the Administrator

B) How is the decision on NEW mods coming???

A) We have GeddyLee and URLOSN...but James has been busy out of the country AND just got married...so I don't blame the guy for not being on a website. URLOSN...well, idk...he demodded his stupid turbo GP and got out of the scene I assume.

B) X2...I'd like to know also...its been about a couple weeks now hasn't it?

B) it hasn't been that long.

The site has gone a transfer of server as well as many setbacks associated with that move almost at the same time as the new mod thread appeared.

Bio also had some sort of work trip.

So patience.

i am going on another work trip tomorrow and might possibly be gone until friday, but that's another story.

the new mod pick hasn't really gone too far. i have yet to really sit down and have a good conversation with chance. i put in my two cents and he saw the thread we all made our opinions known in. he is a busy guy, so i dont blame him for not really giving it a ton of thought. i am almost thinking he wants me to pick the people and then he will just change everyones status for it.

I voted leave it alone, since there was no "i dont really give a ****" option. The whole street racing debate will never end, anybody that's ever been involved in any automotive forum can tell you that. One answer to making it appear like this forum doesn't encourage street racing is to make the section private, or make it to where you need a certain post count to enter it. I've seen many other forums do this after endless debates such as this.

One this is certian, Bio, you are going to be handing out infractions and ban hammers left and right until people get the hint. And even then, you will still be doing more moderating then you do now. Street racing WILL find it's way into a racing/slips/road course/auto-x/drag sections. The question isn't should you do it, the question is are you willing to do all the work it will require to keep things the way you want them? Going by how much seem to hate the street kills section, and how many threads I've seen you close, I would think you are more then willing to do it. I just see it being more of a pain in the ass then its worth.
