so i work with this kid who has a jetta vr6...not sure what year but has to be a 97-99......... he keeps talkin crap about how heavy my car is blah blah blah blah...so we go to get gas cause we r on our way to lunch and outa the parking lot he floors it.......so i floor it and he gets ahead ....so im like uh oH maybe im in trouble lol ( he got the jump) ....... after that we go to mcdonalds for lunch and the whole time hes talking crap...so im like follow me to a open road......... we get on the open road i honk 3 times floor it from a 35 roll............ my god lol i pulled on his ass till about 110 and im about 5-6 cars ahead..........needless to say he was thinking bout selling his car and now hes positive that hes gunna sell lol............im just happy cause this is the first time ive really raced my car in like 2 yrs.... since modding and stuff and i didnt know what to expect
 






nice kill!, jetta's can be pretty quick. my friend told me the vr6's are a bit slower then whatever other model with that engine because its a bit heaver. makes me mad i cant remember what he said made it heavier. =/
 
yeh they can be quick lol this kids car was alright he has a lil bit of stuff done to in not that much............ i just cant wait for my new stuff to go in then ill be gettin alot of kills lol
 
gotta let me know how it runs when you get rockers. that's basically the set up i plan get when i get another job and get some money
 
well i actually changed my mind on that...i got a good deal on a cam with the stuff needed to go along with it .....i wanted rockers cause they are easier and im not great with cars but i couldnt pass up this deal specially since everyone says cams give more power but ill let u know how that is lolol ....waiting for my intercooler and then they will bolth be going on
 


yeh me too lol im so scared lol im just guna have a shop do it and i still be nervous and have to pay out the arse but i cant wait to hear what it sounds like then
 
yeh thats y im waiting for the other stuff so i can do it all in one shot....... i dont have a tuner either ...i gotta get one
