Key stuck in ignition-

Light on gear indicator stays on when key stuck. Doesnt happen all the time. Key goes back almost all the way- not enough to get key out.

could be shift interlock (or whatever it's called in the console) it keeps you from being able to lock the wheel while in gear

Stick pen in hole under little plastic cap on bottom of steering colum cover right under the ignition.

Key comes out every time.

You can zip tie that switch and it will never get stuck again.

seems like an interesting approach, but isnt it kinda a safety feature?

and in mine it goes off far enough to shut off the light when the column one sticks (why I went to the transmission one) the column one stick frequently also though
