Has anyone tried to program a different key fob then the one that normally would work? Like I think It would be neat to have a different kind of fob, rather then the boring one.

you can program up to 4 fobs i think, but when you do it you have to do them all at the same time. one after the next.
 
not to sure about that, if you get a security system you may get a new fob with that.

your car needs a fob with the same part # on it to work.

so if its doable at all you need a after market fob with the same part #, not sure if they are out there or not, i never looked.

the part # is on the back of your currant fob.
 
I did remote start with keyless entry and trunk. Although when I got my car it had no key fob or trunk key. Glad I did it cost me under $100 and installed myself. It has 4 buttons engine run, engine stop, lock/ unlock and trunk release. There are way more expensive fobs and setups out there, but for under a bill can't complain and haters be hating on me when I push that start button.
