Key fob programming

I this might sound stupid but I did it my first time programming FOBs.....

You're turning the key BACK into ACC position right not forward to the on poisiton where all the car electronics turn on right? I did that and ended up killing my battery form cycling the fuel pump a bazillion times.

Dealership only, or someone with a tech2 or whatever they are called. Or you can buy fobs with a little programming thing tho ace tried those and it didnt work for him.
