Key fob issues

Sometimes my Kelly fob won't work at all then I come out later and it works fine. Also noticed that when I lock it then like 2 min later the alarm goes off for about 5 sec and then stops on its own. So confused... Any ideas, anyone?
 


Try changing the battery? What year is your car

If its a 97-03 you can re program it easy, not sure on the 04+ but I think you need a tech 2 for those ones to be re programed
 
I had an issue on mine working intermittently before.

The one problem was the piece that the battery slides into had become "unsoldered" from the board. A resolder fixed that.

Another time I had a problem and the battery solder was fine, I put a new battery in it and it still acted up. On a hunch I changed the key pad to a new one and it worked as good as new again
 
Changes out the battery for a new one, still doesn't work half the time and a lot of times after I lock it with the fob in like 30 sec the alarm goes off for 5 horn beeps. So fn confused, tried multiple fobs too and I don't have the original stereo
