I've been doing some reading on these road closures trying to figure out my route. For anyone who would be taking 29 south, the reccomended route would be taking 29 to Glenwood, IA, then taking Highway 71 South until around St. Joe where it runs back into 29.

You can also take Highway 59 if you prefer, however "the road “is not in very good condition,” said spokeswoman Dena Gray-Fisher. And hotline operators said this weekend that the road is full of potholes on the Missouri side."
