K&N Air Intake?

I've heard K&N air intakes improve the performance of any car (especially GP's). Any confirmations or suggestions?

they do, make your own, its cheaper.

The price per HP gained on a K&N intake is ridiculous compared to other available bolt on mods for these cars. Like Matt says, make your own with a cone filter and spend those dollars on other stuff like a downpipe or a PCM.

The type and sape of the intake is an old discussion here, lots of threads about it, so don't go there LoL!
