Hi guys, I was replacing the carpet in the trunk of my 2007 gt and came across a black box on the left hand side on the fender well. Any Idea what it may be???
 


says delphi electronics on it but that could mean anything. was thinking it could be gps for onstar and of course I don't want feds knowing where I drive or how fast.
 




HAHA only if you want in:th_biggrin2: Nah I just don't like the idea of being tracked. No I am not hiding from the repo man, car is paid for in full.
 


Im not exactly sure what data is running through it. So, Im not sure if unplugging it will throw any codes or disable certain functions. You could just disconnect the antenna then there is no way for it to communicate.
 
You can yank the onstar module no problem. If you don't plan to use it, might as well (weight reduction!)
