hey i was just wondering if anyone has used the Lund hood scoops on ther car and if they have a picture i can see of them on their car. I am waiting to purchase an inferno hood but looking cheaper for now till maybe next year. I think they are actually called lund eclipse hood scoop.
 


no, seriously i seen them on partsTrain.com They come in a pair, they are just stick ons. It is for my 04 gt daily driver work car. I run heavy equipment and am always parked on the job site. car gets some driving abuse so i am looking to park it and getting a pos to drive to work.
 
No, Bio is laughing because he knows you're serious. In alot of cases I'll disagree when he drops a,"That looks like ****, leave it stock!", but in cases like this I will agree with him completely. DO NOT buy these!! They don't look good, they are non-functional, and it's just money you could have spent elsewhere. So from the guy that wants to modify almost everything, leave it stock over stick-ons.

Above all do what you like and it's your opinion that counts, but...

There are a couple of members that have had them on their GPs maybe they can help you. Good luck.
 
You are talking about non functional cosmetic hood scoops? If so, you are likely to take some grief about that. Sorry I can't help you, other than be prepared.

And I agree with Jason...if it's your thing do it.
 
I really appreciate the comments i won't even bother with buying them. I don't want anything that looks like ****. Is there any other hood mods that are cheaper than the inferno
 


I've got some pictures on my cell phone from a black 04 that was for sale. It had the LUND scoops on it and looked terrible. I'll post them tomorrow so there is hard proof of how terrible they look. (even for stick ons, they look very small and out of place on a big hood IMHO)
 
there is a black '99 gtp with the lund scoops, it doesnt look aweful, but it does look out of place, I'll try to get some pics
 
please please please please please stay away from these scoops. I've seen them look ok on one car...key word... "ok". You are better off to put that money to something else... anything else

well that does it, they truely are ugly. Too short and look a little odd. Thanks alot guys for saving me from embarassment.
