i just installed my new set of SLP headers (YES YES THEY ARE A PAIN IN THE.....REAR haha, but now im just wondering..
what else do i need to drop to a 3.4..
i just have the main bolt ons : Headers, CAI, 3" catback :D.. but my friend with a completely built engine on his gtp is selling his 3.4 thrasher pulley since he has a 3.0.. I am gonna get it BUT im just wondering what more do i need to do so? i am gonna get my pcm tuned, so no worries on that.. & what would happen if i dropped to a 3.4 with just those mods? :th_nervous:

Id get some new plugs, throw the pulley on and get it tuned right away. if your car cant handle it yet, then switch back to the 3.8

yeah i read & read that article about safely modding your 38oo car,
but its no the same to read then to actually get info from people who might of done it (:
& yeah ill get the plugs, wires & a good tune.

& about my friend he just got the car, went to a shop & had it sitting there while he just poured money into his ride :/ so I dont think he´ll know hahaha..

so im guessing this pulley is a press on or isnt?..

well if you put on a 3.6 and get the most timing out of it before knock, it may perform better then a 3.4 with horrible timing, be almost like runing a stock pulley. food for thought
