anything to worry about installing this is a preatty much stock and kinda touchy 2000 gt?i had planned to do some minor things first but works been slow. my pcm now is trying to destroy my tranny by messin with the torque converter solinoid or whatever. i let my car sit overnight with no bat to reboot it and the problems gone. will a new pcm keep it away for good?
 


My transmission just broke a few months ago because I had two codes: Torque converter clutch always on, and something with the shift solenoid.

It started by taking away 3rd from me, then took 2nd. Had the tranny rebuilt, everything works great. Had nothing to do with my pcm.

My 2 cents.
 
naw maybe i wasnt clear..... i had no codes for my transmission. thats why this common problem gets misdiagnosed as an engine misfire. its been over a week and it hasnt happened sence flashed my pcm. it used to happen 25 times a day.anyways the things comming in a few days.... anyone with expirence with the 3800 pcms got any advice for the install. my headlights will not turn off at all even with the parkingbrake engaged. this is a key part of the install i guess so im wondering if this will give me issues.
