• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Just got back from my trip (Pictures)

Left last Thursday morning around 4:30 a.m. and headed out to one of the largest Land Rover meets in the U.S.

Even had a guy from Argentina that gets paid to drive around the world show up in his four door Land Rover Defender with kevlar armored doors and bullet proof windows. Was pretty cool to see since they're illegal in the United States becuase of the diesel motor.

Needless to say it was pretty damn cool getting to talk to him and have the opportunity to drive my Land Rover in a group with him and three other LR's that have also been around the world many times.

Also had a guy from a Land Rover school show up at the event and rode around with myself and my friend that had went with me. Teaching us the same things he teaches at the school, which he made sure to mention costs $200 an hour there. Luckily for me he also had his $15,000 version of a DHP computer for Land Rover's with him so I got the chance to have him hook that up on mine and make sure everything was in proper working order after the Rover had ingested a little water.

Was it mostly an all Range Rover thing? Looks like quite a good attendance no doubt! They need to have something like that for Branson *grins wickedly*

Thanks for sharing your journey!

That is awesome. Guess you're getting into the whole Land Rover thing pretty seriously. Looks like a lot of fun, but I dont know that I could take any vehicle through all that unless it was a tank or something.

Yep, I'm really enjoying the fact that I can take a trip and not worry about whether or not I'll be towing my vehicle back home. :th_bangheadonwall:

And trust me, after a while of driving one of these around you get the feeling of being in a tank, that handles remarkably like a car.
