Just got a Hero2, crash course information wanted

I finally broke down and bought a GoPro Hero2. I'm going on a run/cruise tomorrow on some of Southern Ohio's best roads and was wondering what settings you guys use and where you place the camera in and outside of your car for the best video/sound quality? Any help would be appreciated.

I usually run my gopro at 720p but 60fps I believe. Sometimes you can't get the playback if your not on decent computer, if thats an issue lower the fps. I wouldn't know what a good spot would be on a wrx, as long as it shows the car and the tires/speedometer. If you get the camera out in the front or not showing the car at all/no movement I think it's pretty pointless.
