• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Just bought an ls1m

If everything works, then that is the going price for the LS1M. The LS1M was the first scanner I owned. I used a laptop though and it was a little tricky to set up...hmmm wonder if I have all of the additional instructions and downloads that do not come with the LS1M package?

I'll have to look around a bit.

so what are your opinions on the ls1m. is it a pretty good scanner/tuner for the money or did i just buy something i shouldn't have...i'm still trying to get use to this whole grand prix scene lol

it's strictly a scanner. it's a good scanner, but you wont be modifying the PCM with it.

i have a pcm coming anyways so i should be good. But i basically am scared to mod this comp g without knowing what the KR and everything is reading at

i like my ls1m. i use it in conjunction with my afc 2.2 and i keep my car in a relatively ok tune. cant adjust timing or any fueling maps or anything, but it gets the job done.

I love mine. I use an Aeroforce for daily watching, but for logging the LS1m is great. It is a good investment if you are not planning on a tuner in the near future. And I love the portability. No need to have my expensive laptop sitting on the seat.
