Just bought a spare PCM

i just bought a spare 05 gtp pcm for when i get a tune done as a back up i want to test it out now and see if it works do i need to enter some time of pin or do something special to work or will it just plug and play​

plug and play, then you would have to do a case relearn and security relearn

case relearn and security relearn is that pretty simple to do? do you have a link to how to do it?

I thought you had to have the PCM flashed with the correct VIN for it to work properly???
