• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Just bought a 2004 Grand Prix Gtp Comp G but many problems..

Again, very true, haha.

your car aint from queens NY lol, the city life is so hard on car over here, bad roads bad shops and people who drive cars till they stop working and they get left on the side of the cross Bronx expressway for the insurance money,(cars used to get stripped over night if left on that highway) if they have insurance that is.

i have had my fare share of replacing body parts on my car due to a string of bad luck, but if you dont care that you have a gm bumper or not, go to RockAuto Auto Parts. you enter the parts catalog and put in the info for your car.. Front bumper cover is only $112 on there plus shipping.. which still comes out way way way cheaper than a gm bumper.. only difference is there is no pontiac badge on the front (in my opinion looks way nicer) then all you gotta do is pay to paint it still saving you alot of money compared to a gm part.. you will also be able to find your mirror on there for dirt cheap! the ac issue is most likely a loose connection in the blower motor or the resistors in it.. under the dash behind the glove box is where that is, its kinda a pain in the ass to get to and replace just because its awkward to try and get under there where you can see. i think its held in with 4 small screws.. if you dont know what the blower motor looks like, its a round like fan lookin thing that kinda resembles an animal cage.. hints why its also called a (squirrel cage) ive replaced a few of them on different prixs now.. not to hard to handle.. oh yeah, and as far as your temp, my car runs like that all the time, if you run full synthetic oil, the temp being at that really isnt an issue.. having a supercharged engine with full synthetic oil in it, the temp like that doesnt hurt it at all, it actually lubricates better.. make sure you do all the coolant checks though and that you have it topped off without any air in the lines. if it gets higher than that then you might wanna worry but that temp shouldnt be an issue.. it hasnt been for me anyway and ive had mine only 2 years and already tacked on 50K miles.. id say your fine

that sounds like a loose wire, or maybe the blower motor resistor, witch is under the dash behind the glove box, along with the blower its self, theres a write up here in the how to section on that, i haven't had to deal with it myself yet. search away for that one.

I don't know if this helps...on my 04 the wiring for the HVAC panel was rubbing on the dash console and frayed a couple of wires causing a similar issue for me.

he might be talking about the climate control with the fans speeds, and what not. they come out easily to inspect it and the wires. just need to pop off the panels from the dash front.
