• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Just bought: 2000 Daytona Edition with 4,000 original miles. It is brand new!!!

Ive got a feeling bills right, people go oh well its just a gp but ever try find a pristine can am pontiac? How about a shelby dakota? Or a gmc typhoon or cyclone? Hands down the lowest mile w body anything ive ever seen.

It's still just fwd. I kid I kid...

it's true, though. These cars deserved to be RWD...or at least AWD like the original G8 concept (which is on ebay right now).

And I agree with you guys. Nobody expects them to become a classic...and that is what makes a classic. 2000 Mustangs and Camaros will always be a dime a dozen because people plan on them being classics and take care of them. No one takes care of GP's and that's what will make this valuable (I hope). The problem is, I can't afford another car to use as a DD right now. So, unless someone offers me a good chunk of change for it, it is going to have to be driven.

Uhm. I'd like to know what you would need to have for this..... I;d absolutely LOVE to have this car. Even though i'm in Ontario Canada...

PM me an offer. You won't offend me if it's low, but I'm not going to sell it unless I feel it is right, obviously. That goes for anyone. If you have the means to take care of it, and I think you are offering enough, I'd love to give it to someone who will keep it with low miles.

Heck...while there's billions of GP's.. most have been driven and not hermetically sealed like this one. Might almost be worthwhile to store it on blocks under a cover for another 15 years. Then auction time.

^^^ this ^^^

or sell it immediately (at a decent profit) to someone who will and get a more used one (GP) with pocket change left over!

....did you seriously just compare a Daytona GP to a Typhoon or Syclone?? Those had a wee bit more to their rarity than an appearance package also offered for 2 other years, and some decals and stickers. There's nothing that makes any of the "rare" editions of Gen 2 w-bodies unique enough compared to their "regular" versions to make them collectible. The closest thing that stands a chance is the 40th only because it's a 40th, and sports a color exclusive to it. Even then, I don't see them becoming collectibles.
