JUST baught 6000k HIDs



can you really still call them HID's when they are just xenon bulbs? I mean if thats the case, my silverstar ultra's are HID's too LOL
 




hell yeah but my bulbs have 2000k more then silverstars go me i want a cookie ship me one.... :) muuuuuuhahahha
 
Joe you do realize that color temperature only has a certain effect on actual light output, correct? What is the lumens output on the bulbs you got vs. stock vs. HID's.

The higher the color temperature after 4300K the less actual light output.
 
well im not sure on the lumens but i took 1 out replaced it and did a compare test. my xenons kill the stockers.
 


i bought same ones while back ago they do nothing....but make **** look blue and harder to see and nothing to foggs but goood luck:)
 
You do also realize that bulb start moving towards the yellow/red spectrum over time and lose lumens. Even new "stockers" will be better (not as yellow and will be brighter) than old stockers... I'm not saying that your bulbs aren't an improvement, but we don't see any pictures so we don't know.

You still can't call them HIDs though. It is pretty crappy that the eBay seller claims that they are HID and is trying to fool a bunch of people (mostly suckers) into getting "HIDs" that aren't HID at all...
 
i knew they werent REAL hids lol but its a good investment i feel BRIAN GET YOUR CAM COME OVER SATURDAY AROUND 5 ish haha
