just an fyi--trailing arms

Since they discontinued the GMPP trailing arms, I thought I'd try the w body store "boxed" ones. As previously rumored, they are the Dorman trailing arms. They aren't great, but they do seem beefier than the stock ones. Not the best in the world, but do seem to be an upgrade over stock for those seeking a little improvement or to get rid of the stamped crap.

I've always wondered, what difference would there be with the tubular trailing arms (like GMPP) verses the stock stamped steel arms?

I'm going to box mine in the spring. Welder + flat plate = cheap fix

Since I assume we can't find the GMPP trailing arms anywhere what are comparable and not ridiculously expensive replacements? I'm looking for a set of tubular ones but over $100 seems crazy.
