Just a Topaz Gold Metallic GTP

Re: Just a Topaz Gold Metalic GTP

Hmm, did not know that, how much are they new a piece?

I know where another set are too LOL for $40.
Since they don't make those(round) anymore after an hour of scrounging all I came across was like the Dorman $27 each, 1988-2008 Pontiac Grand Prix Trailing Arm Dorman, Rear, Driver Side, OE replacement which seem to be the slight upgrade until you bounce to the UMI or BMR for 129 each. Kind of hard to tell how they are built from pictures until you compare umi/bmr and are like holyshlt. All I was saying is I was under the impression you got those dirt cheap.

I see what your saying, those Doorman ones are boxed, the GMPP ones are tubular and a bit thicker. After searching, it seems that the GMPP ones have been discontinued.

bmr and umi are 129 for the pair :)

I'm a cheap azz, $40 bucs>$129, although BMR>GMPP.

Re: Just a Topaz Gold Metalic GTP

Oh I agree, the round just seems to be a more stout proposition compared to the square. I was hoping my remarks didn't come across wrong. My Catholic guilt is still hounding me from the arrowhead fiasco. I'ld let em know there gold for the arrow is way off....

Re: Just a Topaz Gold Metalic GTP

No worries, I got thick skin LOL I'm military after all, I hope that new arrowhead is better, the current one is growing on me.

Cause, waiting til I get out of the Army and back in TX for good. Louisiana has high humidity and the car sits in the open there, it has a garage back home.

Painted my GMPP trailing arms I scored off a Impala (police pkg). Now just need to mount them.

They look good. Really add a nice contrasting touch to the yard. Will make all the neighbors stop mowing their lawns and stare for sure.

Mike!!! The car is looking amazing buddy, mine is still just sitting there with no title and registration and 3 flat tires.... FML oh well summer is almost back and work will pick back up soon then it will be off to the paint booth and then, Some real fun, I am loving the gold accents you are putting on it it really makes the car pop, can't wait to see it in person.

It's all good Shane, get some air in those tires and drive it around the block. Maybe I can cruise over for a visit this week, I'll text you.

Death-Proof FTW, excellent Tarantino......had to stamp it

Re: Just a Topaz Gold Metalic GTP

Went to the DIY shop on post today. I replaced my fuel filter, installed my GMPP trailing arms and oil change. I was there for 3hrs or so and after using their drive on lift, tools and helper, it only cost me $18, gotta love Military perks. Noticed that the ride is a little stiffer going around corners, just glad I have better than stock trailing arms now. Guy in the stall next to me had a honda on coilovers and said that a GTP is his dream car, I chuckled. In the stall to my right was a sweet Termi, my dream car LOL.

These trailing arms have never been off, what a PITA, before with the crappy stock
