TODAY MARKS MY 10TH YEAR IN THE ARMY

Yeah that is a M16A2, when I started that deployment I had the grenade launcher attachment. The 10 years in was my "BIG" surprise that I posted about couple of weeks back HAHA.

haha i used the A4 for awhile and not where im a crewman on an LAV for radio battalion i gots me a good ole M4

well i doubt ill ever get to actually use it in combat due to where surrounded by an entire infantry company...i dunno if you know what i do but basically intel is a good way to put it...in an LAV with awesome radio and antenna gear

Infantry can't do their job as effective without intel, also the LAV has that 25MM on it right? That 25MM is a beast with it's little AP rounds us Tankers call "Mini Sabot".

our LAV doesnt...its an official use only LAV with massive antenna masts and various other things inside of it...all we have for defense is our M4's and the single mounted M249...or 240 i can remember which on the front

That sucks, Might as well paint a big RED TARGET on that thing with a sign that says "Kill Intel First" haha, JKJK, I can fvck some sh1t up with a mounted 240B.

o let me tell you...that thing is fun.except cleaning the brass that falls into the LAV out.

Yup, I used to hate cleaning all the links and brass off the tank, at least when I was a gunner, I had a catch can down next to the main gun.

Well lucky you. But if it gets to the point where my LAV is actually having to use the 240 then something has seriously went wrong and were screwed lol

Oh I see, your in the rear with the gear!!! I bet all the grunts hate on you LOL. The ground pounders always hated on us Tankers, but always ask to start the tank to dry off their sleep gear, the M1A1 tank has a jet turbine engine and puts out some serious heat, great during the winter.

id imagine so. but no we work with infantry all the time and guys i know have went out on patrols...i havent gotten lucky enough yet...but were the guys that they actually want out there with em if ya catch my drift. we have benefits of being there

Ahh, I'm tracking ya. We had those guys that went on patrol with us, they were SyOps or however you say it. They had a loud speaker on the turret of the truck and all of them could speak Haji.
 
Well we have a ling that is with us and he speaks dari but we don't got no loud speakers we just figure out what the bad guys are gonna do before they do it

I did not know that I was going to have two cool things in one week, first was my 10 year mark in the Army, now the day finally came for me to get something I have been waiting a long time for...

I present to yall..........PRE-GENS, kinda sucks though that I only got three of them. For a bonus though I grabbed a strut tower brace also while at the JY.
