If I had to do that by hand....it would have never been done lol, will do and I hated this color at first (was happy to have GTP), but after seeing Riding On Chrome's 98 Gold GTP in person, I got inspired and love the color now. Wish he would post interior pics of his ride, it's just that jaw dropping and the out side is super clean too minus his door guards lol, he wants mine when I delete them.

but UC and Ultimate polish work great together also.....especially for someone just getting into the 'more than just wax' game

Of course I keep that combo on my shelf as well. Always go this route first then if more cut is needed 105/205. But it'll be easier when doing by hand or drill to do UC and UP. Just giving him another option down the road.

Yep^^^^ also follow with a last step protectant wax or sealant because the UC strips the wax

Right now I'm back in Louisiana, I went home for the 4 day. All my tools are there(6hr drive). On payday I plan on getting a lager buff pad so I can get the hood. I brought the UC, drill, small pad and extension cord with me. I need to link up with my NCOIC and see if I can use his place. I live in barracks, the only thing to do here is sleep, GPF and DRINK. I just hope the weather is 60*+ like it has been down here since last Thursday.
 


Lmao hey it's going to happen something I've come to realize over the last 10+ years living here. First its hurricane season. Then winter. Spring/pollen season then love bug season. There's just minimum room in there to get a good compound,polish, wax session in. Walked outside to get the mail today already have pollen all over my hood..fail!

Lovebugs and pollen are the main reason I PCSed (Permanent Change of Station) from Fort Stewart, GA to Fort Hood, TX. Central Texas is awesome, no bugs, no pollen and no winter, just slight cooler air. Being in Louisiana sucks, it's just like Georgia. I used to hate washing my car when I lived in GA, by the time I was done drying the trunk, the hood would be covered in yellow pollen.

Had an awesome phone call with my wife earlier, she authorized me to go pick up the 3 pre gen rims I found at the local JY here. I think my ride will look real nice with some gunmetal painted pre gens.
