On facebook a few of us Texans are starting to talk about a meet and cruise of some sort. With our state being so big it takes a lot of planning. I'm down for anything after mid July. I am waiting til I have separated from the Army and back home to really plan anything.

You guys got lots of meets out in the mid west, over here in Socal i dont see any at all. Even when we had our GP we see none, id love to go to one but that would be when i get a GP back. Hey are the new Impala's still considered W-Bodys? The 2012 -2013 with the new 3.6 VVT V6 engine? I like that car it hauled ass the one we rented so i really want to get that one espically since they are pretty cheap comapred to the Charger/300 and Ford Taures and others in the same class.

I been so busy lately and my computer has been broke so I been gone a while, I got another GP a red one. I was talking to TexasTanker told him I was gonna get pics up but I haven't done it yet

With work and schedules, having time for meets in a large state is a PITA. LOTS of driving involved too.

Not really a page, we just kinda found each other off of group pages like GTP Nation and Grand Prix GTP owners club.

texas what i was getting at is that your not to sure about your info on facebook you should look it up before you send someone on a wild goose chase.
 
Not much to update, I am still waiting on the call to get my orders cut, so I can get out of the Army.

A month ago, my A/C was blowing cold only on the passenger vents, got the A/C recharged and all was good for a month, now I'm having the same problem again.

What I have done so far:

1. Removed the driver blend actuator and manually set the blend door to cold.
2. Put A/C manifold gauges on and checked the high and low side, both are within spec.
3. Ran diagnostics using the A/C controller, with help from google, only trouble code was the disconnected actuator.

I am guessing that the A/C control unit is bad, reason being, before I disconnected the driver actuator, the fault Icon on the controller would flash at start up.

This sothern heat is fvcking killer, if it wasn't for the amount of blood, sweat and WTF's I have given this car, it would be fvcking gone.

Might get out and take some pics tomorrow, depending on how I feel.

What is this fault Icon on the controller?

I only ask because on mine, everything works, blows cold both sides, adjusts to defrost, fronts, floor, dual mode even functions... but randomly the "reclining person icon" (the ones the arrows point to for front vents/floor) flashes. The arrows do not, no codes, but even off at random the little guy flashes on and off.

I have searched high and low and can't find any similar problems, but since it works I just ignore it.

I think I have the same problem with mine! I had no idea where to start so I just keep putting it off. Keep us posted!
