Operation Refinish Pregens is almost complete, this next week will be the hardest mission so far, finding tires for CHEAP.

Can't go lower til I know what is happening after I exit the Military, so 245 60. That will be hard to find decent used. I found a set of 235 that were sold hours later. I knew refinishing was going to be the easy part.

245-60 will be really hard to find used, since they don't even show any new. At least according to TireRack.com
but a 245-50 is pretty cheap, a little shorter but hey, it'll work for $90.00 each

No sir. I have the original POS Crosslaces that came on 99 GTPs and jumped straight to 18s for the look. I would love a set of pregens for the track, but that will be much later down the line, unless I find a really good deal locally.

Today was a good day. Got 4 slightly used tires for $145, got the stock size of 225-60-16. Maybe later down the road I will get new tires. Also went back and forth with a Junkyard guy who is a parts guru......or so he thought LOL. We argued about trailing arms from a 02 Police Impala. I said they will fit, he said you are wrong Sir. Then that moment he realized that he confused "Lateral Arms" with "Trailing Arms". He said Oh they are interchangeable, so for $15 a pop, I'm getting better trailing arms.

I just got done ordering my Arrowhead Overlay from Reflective Concepts, I went with Reflective Black border, Reflective Gold Main Color and Reflecta Dome to top it off. I hope it is waiting at the house by the time I go home for spring break leave at the beginning of March. Figured it was time to cover that red arrowhead that did not match my Gold and Black setup.

I just got my reflective black arrowhead Monday..I'll have to wait until the ice age is over to put it on. I didn't know you could dome the arrowhead, oh well.
So this weekend for tires? Hopefully you get some sunny days for the pics. Get some funky night shots to post.

Well, I'm tired and my back hurts, but once again....IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!
I was running out of daylight and had to use the cell phone, need to wash and used the better camera.
Cost me a total of $38 to use the on Post auto shop. I mounted them and they insisted on balancing, I stood there and made sure it was done right and got 0.00 on all the rims
