just a black FD. new wheels

put the wheels on the car today. Still at stock height, putting the coils on tomorrow. Looks like It's going to be an aggressive fitment. I'll see how low I can go but may have to add some camber or pull the fender. Definitely need to roll the fenders

that can be pulled off with rolled fenders and some decent camber.

i don't really like pulled fenders. they distort the body lines of the car.
 


unfortunately I had to raise the car about an inch since I couldn't get out of my driveway without scraping. Turns out I still need to put down the planks to get out without scraping...oh well. Here's some pics after it was raised (still needs a wash):




















 
the wheels themselves aren't my favorite, but you fit them well. looks like the front could go with a little less camber to get that gap between the fender and tire to go away, too.

otherwise it looks great.
 


I somehow missed this thread, and I have a large soft spot for the RX-7s.

I was perfectly fine scrolling through the first page, loved the wheels, saw the teaser... but when I got to this.

thanks bio. yeah I realize there are some slight tweaks to be made to get the stance perfect, however I'm new to the stance/fitment game and taking things one step at a time. I agree that the front should have a bit less camber, but these coils don't have camber adjustment, I'll have to do some slots or cam bolts for that. overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out since I picked the wheel widths and offsets purely off of pictures and info I could find online. It was mostly a guess and me not wanting to do a whole bunch of fender work

hahah, thanks man. I love the look of these cars too. I'll have to wait for a while but once I get some extra cash I really want to do a 2jz or lsx powered FD
 
You have no idea the amount of jealousy/hate/envy flowing through me right now lol....


I'd rock the **** out of an FD.


It wouldn't even have to be fast... I just want one
 
honestly for your first jab at it you went more extreme than i am running even now and you did a pretty good job at it.
