I tried to be slick and get mine on today, the Autoshop was closed, they open Tomorrow at 1300.

With a sandpaper disk, light pressure and blended it. Then followed with regular sand paper, ranging from 120-220 grit. Took my time and made sure it looked good, I got rid of all the nics and scrapes on each wheel this way. The prep was time consuming, but worth it.

The disk I used was like this, but not 40 grit.

I'm not sure how to fix polished ones, it would take multiple passes with many grits of sand paper then compound and polish, might have to clear coat them again. With painting it was easier.
 


They're in pretty good shape so im going to leave them stock for now. They got practically new snow tires on them so they'll come off as soon as the weather gets nicer. Im trying to find some 99-01 cobra wheels for the summer.
