hey you guys. pretty new to this but here goes. not sure what it is but my tranny seems to be shifting funny sometimes lately. i'm not sure but i think its when i take of really fast someting happens to my trans and when it does the next time i start accelerating from a stop its like it buckles or shudders a little bit when it shifts and jerks you forward. when the tranny is working normally it shifts fine and you can barely tell it ever shifted but every now and then it will start doing that and won't stop unless i turn the car off for just a few a few minutes and then i turn it back on and typically its fine. i don't think its getting over heated but its like when i turn the car off and then on its like it resets a breaker or something and its fine. . is this anything to worry about? has this happened to anyone else?
 


sorry for not providing info. 99 grand prix gt bout 97xxx miles. motor replaced at about 92xxx. i think the tranny is the same though. reason i don't know is i didn't think to ask when i bought it from the guy. i assume its the original tranny and just new motor put on it.
 
Sounds like you are setting a P1811 Max Adapt Shift code. Which would jack the line pressure and give you a harsh shift. The link is likely to a shift kit plus bottle of lucas. That does seem to work wonders.
