JDrach's 98 Daytona - Snappin chains 4 days

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona

he wont, and if you debadge, you gotta change your spoiler, makes it look twice as better

JDrach's 98 Daytona

Slow down. He's already thinking way to hard on debadging the last thing you want to do is insert a spoiler into the picture.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona

Lmao red hit the nail on the head. I'm the most indecisive person eva. I'll prolly do it tho, get some thin fishing string from my dad and run it over with some piping hot water for a bit

JDrach's 98 Daytona

Ditto plus its not like 98% of America doesn't know what a Grand Prix looks like no need to advertise it anymore lol.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona

im just use to it thats all lol. I just hope the paint is messed up under it. Also was thinking about peeling off my roof rails and re painting them. They arent glossy

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona

red stock spoiler on a blue car....riiiiiiiiiiiiight. I have my buddies with the boot to give me his red spoiler lol. He has a 40th but cant put it on cause of the exposed holes. And he got rear ended n the bumper is falling off

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona

i dont have a red spoiler and i dont have a stock spoiler.. i have an orange SD gen 2 spoiler

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona

So did you remove the "GRAND PRIX" yet?

Honestly even given how old the paint is, it shouldn't be that noticeable. Unless its been re-painted which will either make it less faded, or if the painter was lazy like on one guys, it will be raised so removing the letters will give a "ghost effect" to the GRAND PRIX in the paint haha.

Either way do it, fishing line or floss works well, and some Goo-Gone from Home-Depot will get rid of the excess glue without messing up the paint, then wash good, buff hard, wax well, and stand back and appreciate it. Oh, and more photos.
:th_mischievious: Now go do it.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona

The odds of the paint being bad is low, when i debadged on my first gp, the paint was perfectly fine, but like TL said, buff hard and it will look sexy
