jail Break an iPhone 4s?

The right location of this thread is questionable

I've had my iPhone for a little over a year and have been wanting to jail break it but don't know where to start

its a 64gb 4s with AT&T running ios 6.0.1 seems like there are tethered options but no untethered options

anyone have an experience?
 


Just follow a forum for redsn0w. But once ya jail brake don't update the operating system on the iPod until an updated jail brake. I have some good sources for cydia if ya get a jail brake.

no i will confirm there is no jailbreak for A6 processors'. basically anything that was purchased with 6.0+ ios pre-installed.
 
No jailbreak for 6 yet for the 4s or 5. The devs are looking to possibly hold out until ios 7 to not waste an exploit.
 
well from what i been reading looks like they do want to hold out, but it could be to just 6.1. IF you want to read help sites will be sinfuliphone.com or modmyi.com. Both have very useful info. ive been jailbreaking since the first iphone by shorting out the board to allow other sim carries to be read. Any questions feel free to pm or post back here.
 


Pod2Go is waiting for 6.1 to drop. Guess he has already found the exploit and has it wirking untethered, but since the update is coming out soon they are waiting.
