• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: White Lightning: All Clean with some new goodies!!

Do I need to pull pics of the Panda?

Black wheels. Black.

Re: White Lightning: All Clean with some new goodies!!

Sleek car....black wheels.
Thought all XPs had the fender vents?

Re: White Lightning: All Clean with some new goodies!!

I converted to the GXP front bumper because I personally like it better. I was just throwing up the idea of those rims. I would like the black look but I do love the chrome look on a white car. And for the retrofits, I am not only doing the headlights, I am also doing the running lights.

I was also pondering of getting an SE lip and modifying it to fit....maybe, if i can find one for dirt cheap

Re: White Lightning: All Clean with some new goodies!!

I thought the fenders were a different size for the gxp bumper... it just bolted right up?

Def black rims, but i think you should go with a gloss instead of flat.

The fenders are different between the gt/gtp and the gxp. The GXP bumper bolted right up the the gt/gtp fender with no problem. The gxp fenders have the heat vent in it and the gxp side skirts are the only side skirts that work with the gxp fender or else everything else is the same.

Re: White Lightning: All Clean with some new goodies!!

Well I started my second set today...

On this set I decided to go Morimoto everything

Morimoto H1 6.0 projectors
Morimoto 55 watt ballasts
Morimoto 5000k bulbs
Morimoto ballast harness
New Headlight housings

Took about 10 min to get the headlights apart with a heat gun.

Cut the holes for the projectors then painted.

Re: It's that white thing...Suspension crap and Gauges done!

I laughed when I compared the factory toothpick bar to the new Addco one. My god it is a massive difference!

Finally bit down and bought the Gen 2 gauge pod! Soooooo much better than the first Gen.

And oh, in that fancy little blue box is a fancy little gauge. 2 1/16in of miracle juice!!

Re: It's that white thing...braaaaaap! New exhaust in the process

Well exhaust is in the working as I write this

SD headers
Catless
3in straight back then split to 2.5 after Y
Borla Pro XS Mufflers
G8 GXP Tips

Installing the headers

It's so weird...I ordered two but only got one. The other one is suppose to be here Wed. This is odd...

I am going to be honest, when I first bought the headers - "OMG cheap headers, this is awesome!" When I start to install them - "This isn't going to bad." Trying to install the front manifold - "WTF is this China $hit, jamming this crap together!!!" The headers are nice for what you pay for them, but theres always that one saying that comes into play..."you get what you pay for." If I were to ever have to install headers again, I will spend the money to get a set that fits properly! But on the bright side I am clampless and have ZERO leaks :D

Clampless? Completely? Whats the plan if you ever need to do work and take them off?

I hope for your sake there is at least 1 clamp for the cross over so you can get them apart should the need arise.
